We are looking for a Network Analyst to join the TECKpert team at a client Government agency on site in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Plantation, FL, Dania Beach, FL, & Pompano Beach, FL.


You will be required to perform work onsite as this is not a remote position.

US BASED CANDIDATES ONLY.

The project

TECKpert is currently seeking a Network Analyst to join the TECKpert team on site at a growing government entity. 


The TECKpert Network Analyst provides advanced IT support to various projects and existing systems of all sizes. The Network Analyst will provide expertise in network, data/voice communications, backup management systems, and infrastructure support: The Network Analyst will be responsible for planning, analysis, development, installation, configuration, integration, deployment, administration and support of new and existing computer systems with a hardware and communications focus. Projects involve technology that extends over the enterprise network, Onboard Systems that are integrated with Data Center hardware and software. The infrastructure involves Desktop/Laptops, Backup Management Systems, LAN I WAN I Wireless I Vehicle environments. Experience with the procurement processes, printers, Active Directory, modems, VoIP, GPS devices, operating systems, MS Office. Databases, file servers, switches, wireless CCTV trans it security system, and data communications equipment is expected of the Network Analyst(s) Responsible for designing, installing and troubleshooting network systems (including wireless) to meet the functional objectives of the business. Involved with the configuration and maintenance of physical and logical network components. Provides Tier 2 and 3 support. Involved in the evaluation of new products and services. 


Compensation and Term 

Varies based on experience. Starting pay is $25/hour at 40 hours/week. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire. 


Qualifications you need

Here’s a list of requirements for this opportunity:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. 
  • Requires 3 to 5 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments in network design, implementation, VMWare, Strategic Planning, Backup Management Systems, administration and support. 
  • Extensive experience with Windows 7, MS Office Suite, and SharePoint. 
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and analytical skills to help others understand all the technical and complex aspects of projects and  
  • systems supported. 
  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills of Wireless/Cellular, network, backup management systems, communication, and Connectivity Issues.
  • Operation of real-time remote management applications for monitoring (e.g. IP monitor). 
  • Complexity: Intermediate professional level role. Works on projects/systems/issues of medium to high complexity. Provides support in designing, implementing, supporting and maintaining network systems and infrastructure. Works on one or more projects as a project team member, may also serve as a team lead representing the infrastructure domain. 
  • Experience with complex architecture designs for infrastructure, Backup Management. Systems (e.g. NetBackup, and Virtual environments using VMWare). 
  • Manage Active Directory users and groups. 
  • Network Enterprise device setup and support. 
  • Inventory Management and Tracking. 
  • Timely data entry and tracking of all work requests utilizing a Cherwell ticket tracking system. 
  • Blackberry, IPAD, iPhone and Android operating system experience. 
  • Desktop, Laptop, Tablets OS imaging and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Network Printer and scanner support.
  • Assist with Strategic and Disaster Recovery Planning. 
  • Experience with Backup Management Systems Monitoring and Design (e.g. NetBackup). 
  • Assist with Design and planning of Infrastructure. 
  • Professional IT Certifications are a plus, such as: Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE, CSSA, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP. 
  • Technical Services and Support for Network Security. 
  • Ability to consult across all aspects of the Infrastructure domain.
  • Support coverage may be during different shifts (e.g. Sunday - Thursday, Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am - 6:30 pm, 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm). 
  • Drug Test Required
  • Background Test Required
