We are looking for an IT Administrative Coordinator to join the TECKpert team at a client Government agency on site in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Plantation, FL, Dania Beach, FL, & Pompano Beach, FL.

You will be required to perform work onsite as this is not a remote position.

The Opportunity

TECKpert is currently seeking an IT Administrative Coordinator to join the TECKpert team on site at a growing government entity.

IT Administrative Coordinator(s) must have a strong IT background with sound diverse business experience and understanding to provide IT and administrative support to various IT Projects in a variety of roles, such as: planning, analysis, administration, coordination and support of new and existing computer systems. 

Compensation and Term 

This opportunity is for a full-time, six month contract position with possible extensions with pay to commensurate with experience up to $17/hour. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire. 

Qualifications & Requirements

The IT Administrative Coordinator must have a strong IT and administrative background and provide or possess the following: 

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience. 
  • One year of experience using requirements gathering tools. 
  • Requires 1 to 3 years of IT work experience, including 1 years as an IT Business Analyst 
  • Experience working multiple small to medium size projects.
  • Knowledge of purchasing and procurement procedures. 
  • Works under the general direction of Management or a Project Manager.
  • Strong Communications, (written and verbal), Ownership, Teamwork, Accountability, and Analytical skills to assist with projects and contract administration. 
  • The position is expected to assist with research, conduct feasibility studies, and recommend solutions. 
  • Must thoroughly understand the full project life cycle of a project. 
  • Capability to understand client's technical and business requirements on a project. 
  • May assist with the development of procurement documents and ensuring that all procurement activities are completed in a timely manner. 
  • Assist with defining, tracking, and reporting on departmental metrics. 
  • Drug Test Required
  • Background Test Required
