We are looking for an entry level Recruiter to join our growing team 


This is a primarily remote position, however, candidates must be located in Tallahassee, FL to support our growing client base in the area.

The opportunity

TECKpert is looking to expand our HR team to include an entry level Recruiter. This position is crucial to our team, as they are responsible for the hiring pipeline for our clients. The Recruiter will work closely with the Workforce Manager to implement recruitment strategies.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Partner with Workforce Manager to understand position requirements, identify potential sources to find qualified candidates, and develop a recruiting strategy and process
  • Schedule interviews and conduct pre screen interviews with potential candidates
  • Track recruiting activities and provide candidate status to management
  • Proactively builds talent pipeline or database potential candidates
  • Join industry groups and attend virtual and in-person events to recruit candidates
  • Meet with clients from time to time to understand staffing requirements
  • Research and provide ideas on new technologies and tools that can be used to identify hard to find candidates and passive job seekers

Compensation and Term 

Starting salary is $40,000 a year with benefits like: paid time off, health, dental, vision and life insurance.

Qualifications you need

A successful Recruiter possesses or provides the following:

  • Customer or sales-focused experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to prioritize and and complete projects within deadlines
  • Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn and Indeed

Nice to have 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology or related field
  • Sales or staffing experience preferred
